NEW SINGLE OF CNCO "HEY DJ"

                                                 

CNCO is one of the most-feted new groups in music history. Christopher (Ecuador), Erick Brian (Cuba), Joel (Mexico), Richard (Dominican Republic) and Zabdiel (Puerto Rico) are the members of CNCO; they're talented singers and dancers who range in age from 16 to 21. The group emerged from Univisión's musical competition, La Banda, which was executive-produced by Simon Cowell's SYCO Entertainment, the global icon Ricky Martin, Univisión Communications Inc., and Haim Saban's Saban Brands.

Since then their journey has been incredible. They were the biggest winners at Univisión's 2016 Premios Juventud (Youth Awards), taking home five accolades: Catchiest Tune ("Tan Fácil"); Producer's Choice Award; My Pop/Rock Artist; My Favorite Twitter Celebrity; and That Man Has Style. Likewise, at the 2016 Latin American Music Awards, they won New Artist of the Year; Favorite New Artist – Pop/Rock; and Favorite Duo or Group.

This year the band also won, 3 awards in Premio Lo Nuestro, “Pop/Rock Album of the Year”, Pop/Rock Song of the Year”, Pop/Rock Duo of the Year”. They also took home an award in the ‘Best New Latin Artist of The Year’ category of the iHeart awards that took place on March 5th in LA. In addition to that, in the upcoming Billboard Latin Music Awards, scheduled for April 27, CNCO is a finalist in four categories: Artist of the Year, New; Latin Pop Artist of the Year, Duo or Group; Latin Pop Albums, Album of the Year (Primera Cita); Latin Pop Albums Artist of the Year, Duo or Group. This March the group kicked off their first headline tour, the Más Allá Tour, visiting over 40 cities in 14 countries in Central and Latin America with one sold out show after another. In June, when the first leg of their tour comes to end, they will go on tour with Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull visiting all key cities in the US.

Thanks to the support of their millions of followers, known as CNCOwners, this group has dominated the music industry's most prestigious award ceremonies and will headline at top-tier live venues in the United States, Latin America and Europe this year.

 

 

 

 

Christopher

Este ecuatoriano de 20 años se mudó a New Jersey para conseguir una vida mejor para su familia. Trabajó limpiando zapatos por un tiempo hasta que decidió seguir sus sueños y audicionó para La Banda. El bienestar mejor de su familia lo motivó a destacar semana tras semana como uno de los favoritos del programa para finalmente convertirse en uno de los miembros de CNCO.

Ahora puedo ayudar a mi familia en lo que necesiten, pero lo más importante es que puedo hacer lo que amo, mi música.

This 20-year-old Ecuadorean moved to New Jersey in search of a better life for his family. He shined shoes for a time, until he decided to follow his dreams and audition for La Banda. Being far from his family motivated him to stand out week after week as one of the favorites on the show, and become a member of CNCO.

Now, I am able to help my family in what they need, but most importantly I am able to do what I love which is my music.

 

 

Erick Brian

Llegó desde Cuba con su madre y con su hermana hace tres años. Le encanta jugar al fútbol, bailar y participar en actividades musicales de su colegio en Tampa. Con tan solo 15 años, Erik conquistó los corazones de los votantes y el jurado de La Banda, quienes vieron en él un talento único. Su motivación ha sido su familia, parte de la cual aún vive en Cuba.

Ahora puedo transmitir los sentimientos que llevo dentro y mostrar lo que amo hacer cuando estoy en el escenario. Aunque estoy lejos de mi familia, ellos están felices y me apoyan 100%.

He arrived in the U.S. with his mother and sister from Cuba just a few years ago. He loves to play football, dance, and participate in musical activities at his school in Tampa. With only 15 years of age, Erick stole the hearts of the voters and the judges in La Banda, who saw in him a very unique talent. His motivation has been his family, many of whom still live in Cuba.

Now I can transmit the feelings I have inside and show what I love to do when I’m on stage. Even though I am far from my family, they are happy and support me 100%.

CNCO es uno de los nuevos grupos más galardonados en la historia de la música. Christopher (Ecuador), Erick Brian (Cuba), Joel (México), Zabdiel (Puerto Rico) y Richard (República Dominicana) son los integrantes de CNCO; talentos de entre 16 y 21 años de edad.

Este quinteto fue formado a finales de 2015 en el reality La Banda por Univisión, que cuenta con producción ejecutiva de SYCO Entertainment liderada por Simon Cowell, el artista internacional Ricky Martin, Univisión Communications Inc., y Saban Brands dirigido por Haim Saban.

Desde entonces, su trayectoria ha ido en ascenso continuo. En los Premios Juventud 2016, producidos por Univisión, CNCO fue el máximo ganador, triunfando en cinco categorías: La Canción Más Pegajosa (“Tan Fácil”), Producer’s Choice Award, Mi Artista Pop/Rock, Mi Tuitero Favorito y Mejor Look.

Asimismo, en los Latin American Music Awards 2016, se hizo acreedor a tres premios: Nuevo Artista del Año, Nuevo Artista Favorito – Pop/Rock, y Dúo o Grupo Favorito.

Comenzando el 2017 con el pie derecho, en la 30ª entrega de Premio Lo Nuestro por Univisión, el grupo se llevó los galardones de Álbum del Año (Primera Cita), Canción del Año (“Tan Fácil”) y Grupo o Dúo del Año. Se hizo acreedor a Mejor Nuevo Artista Latino del Año en los premios de la red internacional iHeartRadio que se llevaron a cabo el 5 de marzo en Los Ángeles.

En los Premios Billboard, programados para el 27 de abril, CNCO postula en cuatro categorías: Artista del Año, Debut; Artista del Año, Dúo o Grupo, Latin Pop; Álbum del Año, Latin Pop Albums (Primera Cita); Artista del Año, Dúo o Grupo, Latin Pop Albums.

En marzo 2017, CNCO lanzó su primera gira como artista principal, su Más Allá Tour, ante llenos totales, dando más de 40 conciertos en Centro y Sudamérica, sumándose a un total de 14 países. A partir de junio, se unirá a la gira masiva de Enrique Iglesias & Pitbull que llegará a todas las ciudades prinicipales de Estados Unidos.

Joel

La mayor inspiración de este chico de 17 años de California de antepasados mexicanos siempre ha sido su recién fallecido abuelo, quien siempre le dio la fuerza para continuar cantando y estudiando teatro. Aunque en un punto de la competición pensó que sería eliminado, su tenacidad, trabajo duro y talento, lo convirtieron en uno de los miembros de CNCO.

Mi abuelo me inspira porque me enseñó el amor por la música. Ed Sheeran me inspira porque escribe y canta desde lo más profundo de su alma.

The biggest inspiration for this 17-year-old Californian of Mexican ancestry has been his late grandfather, who gave him the strength to continue singing and to study theater. Even though at one point he thought he was going home during the contest, his tenacity, hard-work, and talent ultimately made him one of the members of CNCO.

My grandfather inspires me because he showed me the love for music. Ed Sheeran inspires me because he writes and sings from the deepest part of his soul.

 

 

Richard

Creció en el mundo del entretenimiento con su padre músico y camarógrafo y su madre bailarina. A este dominicano de 19 años le gusta bailar, escribir canciones y compartir su amor por la música con su hermano gemelo. Desde los 3 años de edad, Richard supo que la música corría por sus venas. Esto era evidente para los televidentes y para el jurado, quienes los apoyaron en hacer su sueño realidad de convertirse en uno de los miembros de CNCO.

Mi vida ha cambiado completamente. Cambió inesperadamente pero de una manera positiva. Estoy viviendo mi sueño y el de mi familia.

He grew up in the entertainment world, with a musician and cameraman as a father and a dancer for a mother. This 19-year-old Dominican likes to dance and write songs, and share his love of music with his twin brother. Since he was 3-years-old, Richard knew that music ran through his veins. It was evident to the voters, as well as the judges, who supported him in making his dream come true and becoming a member of CNCO.

My life has completely changed. It changed in a very crazy but positive way. I am living my dream and that of my family.

 

 

Zabdiel

Este puertorriqueño de 18 años sabía que quería ser cantante desde los 12 años y era parte de un grupo de hip hop y salsa de su iglesia. Ha sido cantante, músico y bailarín de ballet. Su pasión por la música era claramente visible cada noche en que Zabdiel cantaba en La Banda. Dejó su alma en el escenario y se ganó a la audiencia para luego convertirse en un miembro de CNCO.

La Banda ha sido la oportunidad para presentarme a miles de personas y salir adelante con la ayuda de mi familia. Me siento bendecido de trabajar duro en lo que más me motiva, la música.

This 18-year-old Puerto Rican knew he wanted to be a singer since he was 12-years-old and was part of a hip-hop and salsa group in his church. He is a musician, singer, and ballet dancer. His passion for music was clearly visible each night that Zabdiel performed in La Banda. He left his soul on stage and won over the audience that made him a member of CNCO.

La Banda was the opportunity to present myself to thousands of people, and with this help my family move ahead. I am blessed to work hard in what motivates me the most, music.
